About
Stackwise is a one-bag travel publication focused on the numbers, the gear, and the real-world data that most packing guides skip.
We’re not selling you a lifestyle. We’re showing you how to fit a month of clothes into 7kg, which bags survive 200 days of abuse, and why 35L beats 40L every time.
What we do
We test gear for months, not weeks. We cite airline weight limits, not vibes. We explain why packing cubes don’t actually save space, and then tell you why you should use them anyway.
Every guide is built on field data: what broke, what held up, what we’d do differently next time.
Who this is for
Digital workers who hate checking bags. Ex-overpackers who want to travel lighter. Anyone tired of packing guides that say “bring what you need” without defining what that means.
If you care about mobility more than optionality, you’re in the right place.
What we don’t do
We don’t fake testimonials. We don’t manufacture “as featured in” badges. We don’t write 2-week gear reviews and call them definitive.
When we recommend a product, it’s because we’d buy it again. When we link to affiliate products, we say so explicitly.
The philosophy
One-bag travel isn’t minimalism for its own sake. It’s the point where travel stops feeling like a logistical challenge and starts feeling normal.
Your bag becomes part of you instead of something you’re fighting. That’s the goal.
